A dense globose dwarf with blue-green needles that have a slight twist. The 'Hagoromo' and 'Hagoromo Seedling' we have are identical. The correct name is 'Hagoromo Seedling.'
Tufts of short, blue-green twisted needles on a slow-growing form of Japanese white pine. Great choice for rock and miniature gardens. Adds a distinct Asiatic appeal to the landscape.
Pinus parviflora 'Hagoromo' - A dwarf form of Japanese White Pine. A dense, slow-growing evergreen conifer with tiny blue-green needles. At maturity it will be much more wide than tall. Hagoromo is Japanese for "angel's cloak." Prefers full sun in well-drained soil.
MINIATURE. This lovely plant is one of the best of the parviflora. It is a small bun, growing only ½-1" a year, of beautiful sea blue-green foliage.
