Thick, clumpy foliage on this dwarf spruce is a glossy, dark-green color. The arrangement of the needles allows the silvery-blue undersides to be seen. This pyramidal, dwarf conifer develops into a dwarf, compact tree with age.
Growing two inches a year, with blue-green foliage, this cultivar is an excellent selection for bonsai or the rock garden. Currently more available in Europe than here in the states.
MINIATURE. A small evergreen jewel with a plump pyramidal shape. Needles are blue-green with silvery undersides. Prefers full sun and a well-drained soil. 24" by 20" in 10 years.
