Picea glauca 'Pixie' - A miniature Alberta Spruce. An upright narrow conical plant. Needles are dark-green and smaller than species. Plant looks as though it belongs in a gnome fairy tale book. First introduced from Vancouver, BC Canada.
One of the best Alberta spruce sports. Extremely dense with short, dark-green needles. Our display garden has one three feet tall after 25 years. Introduced out of Vancouver, British Columbia.
MINIATURE. This popular white spruce is a compact pyramidal plant. 'Pixie' is a miniature form of 'Albertiana Conica,' growing only ¼-¾" a year.
