Is an Alberta spruce that will be very small. One site says P. 'Laurin' will be 12"x4" in 10 years. The dark green needles cover the pyramidal plant. Full sun to keep the plant tight and bushy.
Picea glauca 'Laurin' - A miniature upright variety of White spruce. Very slow growing with good green color. Plant will be 30 inches high in 20 years. First introduced in 1972 by Arnold Holstein from West Germany. Grows less then one inch a year.
This wonderful little conifer looks like a perfect miniature Alberta spruce. Charlie (our Golden Retriever) is not included with the plant!
MINIATURE. This variety his short needles of dark green and is a cone shaped mutation of 'Albertina Conica'. 2' x 1' in ten years. Very cute.
