Pendula' has an upright leader that can be straight or at an irregular angle. All branches are pendulous. Overall plant shape can greatly vary depending on leader training. We grow the mound form under the name of 'Hillside Upright' and the spreading weep
One of the original weeping conifers. Typically trained upright to six feet, although can be staked higher or not at all. Weeping branches will cascade downward and form a shirt around the base. Our specimen is 5-6 feet high with a full sweep measuring 7-8 feet.
Coniferous evergreen tree with pendulous branches. Staked up it can reach 8', growing horizontally it may reach up to 15'. Growth Rate 6-12" annually
Picea abies 'Pendula' Weeping Norway Spruce, choice evergreen accent with weeping spreading branches. Needles have excellent rich green color. Best if staked to feature the pendulous nature of the branches. Full sun. Slow-growing with trailing branches.
The well known weeping form of Picea abies, a bit over used in gardens it is often the plant that hooks beginners with the conifer addiction.
Branches are heavily pendulous, so growth habit depends on training. Grows 6-8' in ten years. Pale green cones in abundunce. Striking, deserves a prominent location.

Though this attractive plant is often seen as a large weeping mound, an upright leader can be trained from which its lovely pendulous branches will sway... either way, it's a beauty. Sun/Med
Prostrate or can be staked for height with cascading branches, 4" cones. Deer Resistant. Zones 2-8.
The graceful flowing lines of this tree make it very desirable. If left untrained, its branches will trail along the ground. It's excellent for cascading over walls and ledges. It also could be staked to its desired height and allowed to weep to the ground. It grows 6-12" a year making a beautiful specimen for your favorite spot.
