Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The stellatas with their compact size (rounded to 10') allow even those with a small garden to enjoy the wonders of Magnolias, in this case, of large, fragrant, many-tepaled (petaled) spring flowers of true pink. S/M
Sometimes a older variety, one that is a little understated is what is called for, something beautiful in its own right, with pale pink flowers in that familar star magnolia form, that becomes a big shrub, or when well pruned, a nice multi-stemmed small tree. When you need that you need Pink Stardust.
An outstanding addition to this group. It is a vigorous growing, multi-stemed plant with a pyrmidal form to 10 - 12' high and 8-10' wide that covers itself with rich pink buds that open to soft pink many tepaled flowers that will reach 4-5". The heavy bud set and wonderful fragrance just add to its value in any landscape.
