Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Fairly light colored yellow. Looks lighter than M. 'Elizabeth'.
Yellow buds open to cream-colored 6-8" fragrant flowers before the glossy foliage of this vigorous upright M.acuminata x M.dendudata tree appears. Sun/Med
Blooming fairly late in the season, this cultivar avoids frost damage, but the strong yellow buds fade to light yellow and cream pretty quickly, but the flowers are large and fragrant. The tree is vigorous and blooms precociously. zone 5
A vigorous, M. acuminata x M. denudata hybrid with an upright habit. Precocious flowers bloom late enough in the season to escape most frost damage. Flower buds are yellow, opening to a lovely soft yellow that fades to cream as they age. Fragrant flowers are 6-8" across.
