Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Zones: 4-10. Star shaped steel-blue foliage on small mound. Slow growth to about 2 feet. One of our most beautiful and popular junipers. Takes sun, wind, cold, and drought (once established). Shipping size: 4-6 inch starts, well rooted. SMALL DWARF.
Many cultivars exist in this very variable group. They are dwarf, generally low growing or prostrate, but apparently some forms can be trained as a small tree. Very adaptable, tolerant of dry soils but not suited to the moisture and heat of the Southeast.
