The same handsome oak-leaf foliage, turning stunning shades of purple in fall and the same showy flower clusters, white, in early summer, turning to pinkish-purple, all on a smaller 2-4' more-easily-used scale; truly a gem! S-PSh/M
Another great compact Oakleaf. We have grown this beautiful hydrangea for years. Landscapers have been our primary customers since designers love it. And, they are not wrong! You will love this for your small garden or patio container where you need summer bloom and great fall interest!
We have Sarah Sikes to thank for this new low growing Oak Leaf Hydrangea. Hailing from Alabama, it's half the size of most quercifolias, rendering it a mainstay in the smaller garden. Lobed and closely spaced, the handsome broad foliage shows off abundant ivory-colored conical blooms. Surround with leaves of like shapes such as Anemone and Kirengeshoma to complement 'Sikes Dwarf's unparalleled foliar texture.
Panicles of white flowers mature to pale pink, fall burgundy-red leaves, cinnamon colored bark. Zones 5-9.
If you've always wanted an Oakleaf Hydrangea but just didn't have the room, well now you can. This is a gorgeous dwarf. Same great (actually, stupendous Fall color) same gorgeous white blooms that dry perfectly for winter arrangements. It's just a much smaller plant.

This shrub is very close in appearance to the species, but smaller. The paniculate is creamy white, and has a cushion of pink with and undertone of beige flowers, on which are scattered very pale yellow florets, with whole, non-wavy petals.
