Unbelievably huge, conical panicles (up to 15 inches) of creamy-white blooms which change to a soft pale-pink as they age grace this delightful 6-8' shrub. Blooms are held on stiff stems that do not droop from August through September. Prune back to buds 1 foot above the ground in March to keep it dense and to get the largest flowers. This shrub is stunning as a specimen or astounding when mass planted. S/M
Upright and spreading. Blooms are white and EXTRA big, becoming pink as it ages. Tough branches can easily support the huge blooms. Can handle more sun than macrophylla varieties. Growth Rate fast
Strong and sturdy blooms. Are you tired of your paniculata blooms flopping to the ground? From the breeder of Paniculata Limelight, this hydrangea will amaze you. Huge creamy white panicule blooms begin in July and bloom prolifically through September. But the Phantom is not finished yet. In August, blooms begin to tinge deep pink and green for fabulous cut flowers without any assistance from you. This is our new favorite paniculata but please don't tell the others. They may get jealous.
Hardly a ghostly presence in the garden this shrub when pruned is very full and produces numerous large dense flowerheads. Lovely dark green foliage. A must have for the night themed garden and anyone else who is looking for a white, heavily flowering mid-large size shrub!
