Beautiful and glossy foliage. This hydrangea features large lacy white flowers that will bloom from July through fall. This plant originated in Japan and has foliage consisting of extremely glossy leaves that are more slender than other Paniculatas.

This species offers the most hardy of the cultivated hydrangeas including the PeeGee hydrangea, H. paniculata 'Grandiflora'. 'Kyushu is a lovely cultivar with fuzzy white cones on which flit the large sterile bracts like white moths. This cultivar is often available in both a shrub and a tree (standard) form.
