A standout in the Spring Meadow trials tight heads of toothed florets ranging from a good blue to pink depending on pH held on strong stems, above small clear green dentate leaves.
Not only does this selection have extra-large mophead flowers of varying shades (light to dark) of either pink or blue depending on pH, but the 3-5' shrub, itself, has "personality". Sun-PSh/Med/acid-blue, alk-pnk
MOPHEAD. The showy bracts are toothed, this results in mopheads with a lacy texture. Flowers from deep pink to deep blue can be found on this shrub depending on the pH. At pH 6 it will produce varying shades of these colors all at once. With strong stems to 5', and bright green small foliage this is a delightful plant for the garden.
