Large leaves with golden-yellow striations on the leaves are very noticeable in spring but even into summer.
G. ‘SUNSTREAM’ - is said to be an upright ginkgo. The variegated foliage is deep green and yellow in spring. By summer, the yellow will change to cream. Doesn’t revert like some of the variegated ginkgos.
Leaves are striped with green and yellow with some leaves nearly all yellow. Grows into a broad upright or oval shrub. A variegated form that stays variegated! Filtered to full sun in well-drained soil.
A variegated form less reversion prone than most it is slow growing and you still need to clip green shoots.
This is a Handy Nursery introduction that is variegated form with irregularly streaked yellow and green foliage that is considered more stable than many of the other variegated varieties.
