Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Very hardy but even if it dies back, you can get sweet, juicy figs from 1 year plants; whether grown in a large container or the ground, this 6-12' shrub with its large architectural leaves will be a joy. S/M/GDr
Considered the hardiest of figs, it is said to take down to 5 degrees, but if that is what you normally get, it would be wise to plant next to a southfacing solid wall; sometimes figs freeze to the ground, but they will come back and fruit that same year.
Sweet and juicy fruit on one year old plants. Violet fruit ripens in August. Suitable for containers. Produces fruit even if kept small. Proven hardy in the Pacifc NW. Ht. 10ft.
