Dianthus gratianopolitanus 'Tiny Rubies' is a broadleaf evergreen perennial with blue and green foliage. In summer pink flowers emerge. Features glaucous and grassy texture. Grows well with sun - bright shade and even moisture water. Does well in gritty, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.

An old standby this forms low mats of bluish green foliage and is covered in flowers with the classic cheddar pink scent, I find it a favorite nectar plant of the clearwing hawkmoths.
Diminutive selection growing to no more than 3" with tiny, ruby-red fragrant blossoms held just above the foliage. Plants eventually form broad mats and make a cute, small-scale groundcover.
A mat forming type with tiny rose red flowers borne on thin stems above the foliage and which will bloom sporadically all season after its first major bloom.

Miniature double pink carnations on 3" stems appear in June. Reliable in any well drained gritty soil enriched with lime. Does well in troughs.
This plant has a wonderful fragrance and spreads to make a low mat of evergreen, gray-green foliage. In the summer tiny, rich pink, double flowers of about ½" rise above the foliage on 4" stems.
