Spiraling dreadlocks on this unique conifer adds great texture and interest to the garden! Grows at a moderate rate (6-8" year) to about 10' tall and 8' wide, creating a broad upright mound of twisty yellow-green foliage. Thrives in rich acidic soil with decent drainage; needs regular summer moisture. Place in a spot protected from desiccating winds in sun to part shade.
Very unique dwarf with thin branches that contort and weave in all directions. Grows 2-4 inches per year. An eye-popper!
DWARF. A globose form with loose foliage curled on twisting, curving twigs. Thinner, narrower leaves than 'Spiralis', rather irregular in size.
