'Jindai Sugi' has a compact, irregular pyramidal habit, which is densely branched, while appearing somewhat shaggy. This shaggy texture can make an interesting contrast to more tight and formal plants in the landscape. The light green foliage is retained throughout the year, with the exception of some winter bronze.
