Beautiful green foliage with a unique texture. Photo shows bronze winter highlights.
The dense somewhat arching branchlets of this slow-growing dwarf conifer form a perfect globe-shaped shrub, eventually 4-8' tall. Sun/Med
A plant of muddled nomenclature the name 'Lobbii Nana' which is in general use is considered invalid by Welch, apparently there is more than one compacta nana or whatever circulating, ours forms a medium sized ball with pincushion new growth.
This small growing globular shrub in an ideal addition to the conifer garden. This could be a conifer substitute for Boxwood. Plants grow slowly into a 3 feet x 3 feet flattened globe, with excellent green color throughout the year. Surprisingly Globosa is smaller growing than Globosa Nana, the later being named first and taking the diminutive.

This conifer is broad and conical in shape. It has the appearance of being lumpy. The branches are dense and the needles are short and thick, being uneven in length. This plant is yellow-green, but turns blue-green in winter.
