Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Clematis alpina 'Pink Flamingo' displays light pink, semi-double tepals with white staminodes that resemble the flowers of Macropetalas. Alpinas can be grown from bright shade to full sun and used as a climber, rambler or ground cover. Their delicate flowers are followed by attractive, silky seed heads. They are one of the hardiest and easiest of all species to grow. Pruning group A.
The very delicate, pale pink, double flowers are veined with a deeper pink. Blooms profusely!
