Nursery contributed plant descriptions

It has a nice combination of white flowers with red centers. The effect is particularly nice against a dark background or grown on a conifer with blue-grey foliage. Callick, new Zealand, 1958.
White flowers with pink anthers. May-June & Sept. Prune Feb-Mar cutting back to buds at 18". Hardy to Zone 4.
A good white with a hint of mauve at the margins. Six sepals and deep reddish anthers. Sepals crimped, rippling at margins. The best clematis shown at Chelsea in 1986 and she's still dazzling all who see her today. [Group A, May - June & September, 6-9']
