Clematis Red Pearl has a steady cascade of 4 to 6 inch flowers from June to September. The flower has an average of seven red pointy petals and a complimentary burst of creamy filaments and maroon anthers. Red Pearl is hardy and eager to please from a container or from a garden trellis. Very free flowering! Early, large Flowered Hybrid. Sugimoto, Japan.
Deep red flowers fade to pink, some having red stripes with yellow anthers. Prefers sun or part shade (Group B, May-June Aug-Sept, t)
