Clematis Blue Ravine has quite large, up to 8 inch, flowers in late spring and again in late summer. The dark, purple-red stamens show nicely against the 6 to 8 tepals of each flower. Large Flowered Hybrid. Eriandson, Canada, 1978.
Another of the giant flowered clematis. Blooms are soft violet with slightly darker veins. [Group B, May -September, 9']
