Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Clematis 'Blue Light' is a stunning vine with spectacularly large, semi-double to double flowers in violet-blue to pale blue crowned with chartreuse centres. Flowers are 5-6 inches wide, are doubles in spring and semi-doubles in fall. Vines can reach up to 8 feet tall. Prefers full to part sun. Easy to grow. Works well in small spaces and containers. Pruning group 2. Pollinator attractor.
Clematis Blue Light is an excellent discovery from Europe with fully double 5 inch flowers. It is very free flowering; probably due to it being a sport of Clematis Mrs. Cholmondeley. Double Flower Hybrid Clematis.
Blue-lavender double flowers generally with flat guard petals framing the flower. This is a very full flower! An excellent choice for both the collector and the gardener who only has room for one variety. [Group BC, June-September, 7']
