(Jackmanii Group) A vigorous, deciduous climber bearing throughout late Summer and Autumn, large, ruby red flowers with mahogany stamens, upto 20cm across. Needs a cool, shaded root run while providing at least morning sun to the rest of the plant. Do not allow the roots to dry out particularly while flowering. Prune back hard during winter.
