Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Confucius' - Neat, feathery fans of foliage display a range of color, from bright lemon yellow on outer foliage to softer shades of yellow, gold, and rich green on interior foliage. We have had this lovely golden Hinoki for 15 years in our garden and it has never disappointed. The golden color holds well all winter. It has a pyramidal shape and is about 8' tall. 18-24" plants in 1 gallon pots.
DWARF. Confucious says, "This is a golden Hinoki Cypress from New Zealand." Growth is about 3-6" a year. The golden color would look great nestled among other deep green conifers.
