Came from New Zealand in the 1950's. This small tight evergreen shrublet will make a great rock garden or container plant.
Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Green Globe' A green miniature variety of Port Orford Cedar. Leaves are rich green on a flat globose dwarf. Looks like a mound of moss. Found by Palmers Nursery in Auckland, New Zealand in 1950. Grows 1 inch a year.
One of the smallest of the small. Grows 1/2 inch a year. Finely textured tight foliage is a rich forest green. Often not recognized as a Port Orford cedar form.
DWARF. This variety looks like a mound of moss with leaves of rich green on a flat globose habit. Grows 1" a year in full sun.
