Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The foliage of the unusual redbud emerges in glorious shades of peach, rose, apricot, gold and tangerine; all the sunrise colors! New leaves appear continuously on this 8-12 'tree/shrub giving it color all season long. The leaves literally glow in bright yellow and orange in the fall. Bright rosy-pink pea-like flowers appear before the leaves and are wonderful. This is a wonderful accent for any landscape. S/M-D PP21451
The Rising Sun™ Redbud is one of the most stunning redbuds there are due to the brilliantly colored tri-color foliage. Spring color starts out a deep apricot color, followed by yellow and lime green in summer, then rich golden tones for fall. All three colors can be seen on the tree at the same time creating a magnificent sight in the garden! As with most redbuds, it is noted for its vibrant purple-pink blooms before the heart shaped foliage comes out. The Rising Sun™ redbud is very resistant to heat and burn, pests and disease, growing rapidly in a wide range of soil types and moisture levels. Tolerant of light shade, it is very adaptable and easy to grow.
Perfect for smaller garderns with a mature height of only 12 feet. Peach-colored, heart-shaped leaves, no burn even in full sun. Holds its color into Autumn. In early spring, profuse, sweet pea-type flowers cover branches before to foliage. A fun new intorduction! Growth Rate Vigorous
Introduced by Ray and Cindy Jackson. Pumpkin-orange color in the new growth distinguishes it from the uniformly greenish-yellow color of 'Hearts of Gold'. In the heat of the Midwest and SE, it doesn't burn; that just makes it grow faster. We think you'll be amazed at its incandescent attractiveness to your clients, whether in a wholesale nursery or potted up for direct sale in a GC. Ask us about contract production to secure your annual supply.
This is going to be a much desired plant, with it's rich apricot to peach to yellow and yellow green new foliage! This spectacular color display continues through the growing season. Limited supply.
