Bill Janssen of Collector's Nursery in Battle Ground, Wahsington introduced two variegated seedlings, this one and its sister seedling, 'Sahara Ice'. It has new spring growth that is white and then variegated through the summer months. During the fall and winter it becomes greyish and has white only on the tips of the twigs, and branches. 'Sahara Frost' grows faster than the sister seedling. We think they both will grow rapidly and it will evidently become a tree.
