(INDIAN HOLLY FERN) This slow growing fern is the most asked about fern in our garden! The shiny green leaves are held horizontally and each leaf has a golden yellow stripe right down the center! Surreal looking…evergreen, 12-18” tall and eventually 18-24” wide. Lt shade to shade, decent soil, frequent moisture (our takes some dry shade) – also does well as a potted plant in the house. If anyone still does terrariums, this would be stunning with one of those neon yellow poison arrow frogs sitting on top! Z7

Ferns thrive in neutral to acidic, loose, richly organic soil. Excellent for mass plantings, rock gardens, containers, in woodlands and naturalized landscapes.
Purportedly from India comes these shiny evergreen elegant fronds, each blade and pinnae dagger-shaped, and each struck with yellow-gold along the midrib; it should decorate the border of a sari! Its habit is open and airy, fronds reaching and arching. Tolerates some drought when need be. 18"x18" Minimum temperature: 0 °F
