Aesculus x carnea is a broadleaf deciduous tree with green foliage. In spring pink and red flowers emerge followed by brown fruit. Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - dappled shade and even moisture - regular water. Adapts to various soil conditions. Does well in average, clay, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something humidity tolerant.

This A. pavia x A. hippocastanum hybrid is a popular tree in Europe where its 6-8" x 3" flower "clusters" of rose-red make a much enjoyed late spring show ; a spectacular 30-40' tree and more disease resistant than A. hip. S/M
A statuesque tree resulting from a cross between A. pavia and A. hippocastanum. It reaches a height of 35-40' with a splendid rounded crown of equal spread. Leaves are dark green on short petioles, with often twisted leaflets to 10" long. In late spring it bears dark red or rosy flowers with yellow centers in conical panicles to 12" long, followed by orange fall color and spiny fruit.
