Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Actinidia kolomikta 'Pasha' is a colourful ornamental kiwi that will make an intriguingly lush garden backdrop. The spring leaves emerge purple and green then develop dramatic splashes of soft pink and cream. I thought someone had spilled paint on this plant when I first saw it! Long blooming, fragrant flowers. Attracts butterflies. Provide at least half a day of sun.
We are selling the 'Arctic Beauty' 'Pasha'™, a male hardy kiwi. Fruits measure about _" long and are the first kiwis to ripen in early August. You eat them like a grape, tender skin and all. Kiwis require a male and female plant for pollination. This item is a male for those who already have a female.
This male can do the job. He can successfully pollinate up to 8 females in the kiwi orchard. However, he's also sensational all by himself as an ornamental vine. Like the peacock, he's extremely showy, displaying pink, white and green variegation.
