Dwarf mounding form of Japanese maple. The leaves are finely cut, but not lace leaf. A very nice maple for the rock garden.
'Yuri hime' has green leaves which last into summer with very little scorch in full sun. Fall colors are yellows and reds. This little gem only grows to 3 feet but makes a dynamic feature in miniature landscapes.
Yuri hime is one of the best Japanese maples for bonsai work. Very dwarf habit with dense branching and naturally small leaves. Spring leaves emerge bright green with reddish-brown margins turning to a nice green for summer. Fall brings a bright display of yellow, orange and sometime red.
A tiny gem! Leaves lie close together, due to the minimal amount of annual growth. Difficult to propagate; rare in trade. Great for outdoor railroad gardens, containers, bonsai, or rock gardens.
DWARF, green. One of the smallest varieties, forming a round ball of congested green leaves, giving it the appearance of having a covering of feathers. Leaf color is light green that holds well during the growing season. Quite hardy and sun tolerant. Wonderful for the miniature landscape.
