Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The seven deeply-cut and long, finely tipped lobes of this 6-10' upright growing shrub always draw attention: bright yellow-green, tinted rose in spring, bright green in summer and brilliant crimson in fall. S-PSh/M
Spectacular new leaves emerge bright near-yellow green edged with glowing rose to rust red, then change to bright yellow-green. Tree continues to exhibit colorful new growth throughout summer. Bright crimson in fall. Tolerates hot sun, but leaves may bronze. Photo taken mid-October.
This cultivar has very interesting leaves. Each lobe is seperated almost to the base. The lobes taper to long, sharp tips. The leaves emerge yellow-green, with margins strongly tinted with bright rose to red. Fall color is bright crimson. Outstanding tree!
Wou nishiki is an upright lacy looking tree, 10 to 12'; the leaves are colorful in the spring--pinkish-yellow changing to green. Fall color is redish.
Often said to be one of the most beautiful Dwarf Japanese Maples with new foliage emerging bright yellow edged with red, later turning to lime green for the summer, followed by crimson shades for fall. Reports vary but expect it to reach 6-8' and a 4' spread.
MATSUMURAE, green. Syn. 'Onishiki'. New spring growth is bright crimson. Deeply divided green leaves with somewhat toothed leaf edges. But the most interesting part is that it seems like no two leaves are alike!. In autumn, color changes to variations of bright carmine. Classed as a tall shrub of fastigiate habit, it forms many small twigs and branches. Takes the full sun rather well.
