Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Dark red foliage... ALL summer makes this rounded 10-20' shrub-tree a stand-out; selected by Harold Johnston of Alabama so we know it thrives on humid heat, as well; to 8' tall x 6' in 10 years. S-PSh/M
Small red upright.
PALMATUM, red. We are always looking for a shorter Japanese maple like 'Bloodgood". This is it! This variety only grows to about 10 to 12' and is fuller than "Bloodgood", but has the purple red leaves in spring and summer and then turns fire engine red in the fall. Really nice for smaller gardens.
