Sekka Yatsubusa Japanese Maple is an unusual cultivar with tufts of layered leaves similar to a Mikawa Yatsubusa. The leaves of this tree are narrower lobed than most palmatums. The new spring foliage is green with rust colored edging. Fall color is deep golden yellow. Sekka Yatsubusa Japanese Maple is ideal for bonsai or container growing!
A dwarf dark green with compressed leaves giving a layered look. An excellent choice for a rock garden. Leaves emerge light-green with orange highlights and become shiny dark green by summer. Fall color is yellow to orange.
'Sekka yatsubusa' is another unusual tree with "tufts" of leaves offering the appearance of clouds. Green leaves have a rust color edge in spring. Fall color is brilliant yellow. This tree can take full sun well. 'Sekka yatsubusa' can grow to 6 feet in ten years.
