Acer palmatum 'Oto hime' Dwarf Japanese Maple Tree - This is a green dwarf form with very desirable characteristics. Spring colors are yellow green with reds edging and tips. Fall colors are a pleasant yellow with changing orange tones. This is a wonderful dwarf for bonsai and patio pots.
DWARF, green. This is a vigorous and desirable little dwarf that has a nice dense, flat-topped habit that lends itself quite well to bonsai culture. The leaves are small, 1 to 2" wide and long, with the typical five lobed palmate form. They emerge a bright yellow-green in the spring with red edging and tips, which persist all through the summer. Fall colors are pleasant yellow to yellow-orange tones.
