Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Dissectum. Purple-red spring and summer foliage bronzes by early fall. Fall color is bright crimson. Some describe this cultivar as upright, but in our experiences it is spreading to mounding.
Burgundy-red lace-leaf foliage (similar to Crimson Queen) and a semi-upright (unusual in red lace-leafs) semi-weeping tree (to 10' tall x 6') a more commanding lion-hearted! presence in the garden. S-PSh/M
A fast growing lace-leaf Japanese Maple with purple-red leaves. Fall color is vivid red.
Lion Heart is supposed to be an upright red like the green Seiryu, but I have not seen that at all. It is definitely red and definitely dissected, but I don't find that it is nearly as upright as Seiryu. Michael Healy's photo shows the leaf perfectly.
DISSECTUM, red. This red dissectum is fairly upright in habit, compared to most dissectums, but still showing the characteristic mounding. Not as fast a grower as the green dissectums.
