Koto maru is a round dwarf tree with tiny pink/yellow leaves in spring, changing to darker green by summer. Fall color is crimson red. In Japanese the name means “round harp.” Prefers sun or partial shade in well-drained soil. In 10 years Koto maru may be 3′ tall and wide. This little cutie has wonderful color for 6 months of the year – beats most perennials. Once established Koto maru is hardy to -10 degrees – USDA zone 6. Excellent for bonsai or a patio container.

This beautiful dense slow-growing dwarf is the green version of 'Beni Hime.' Older leaves turn deep green, contrasting nicely with the colorful new growth. Grows well in containers; great for bonsai and the small garden. Responds well to pruning.
DWARF, green. This is a lovely little green dwarf that resembles the leaf shape, size, and growth rate of 'Beni Hime'. New foliage starts out yellow with bronze edges and tips then changes to dark green throughout the growing season. Forms a dense compact slow growing bush.
