Fascination Japanese maple is a large upright tree with a rounded shape that gives the tree a mounded look. The large, deeply divided leaves emerge a yellow-orange in the spring, turning a deeper green for summer. The fall colors are red, yellow and orange. The bark of Fascination is green with white striations for winter interest.

MATSUMURAE, green. Upright and rounded growth habit, and the broadest of dark green leaves, almost like A. japonicum 'Aconitifolium.' These very green, seven-lobed leaves are edged with large narrow teeth. The bark too has something to offer: green with some white striations. Fall color is orange.
