Discoverd as a witche's broom in Englishtown, New Jersy. This Maple is a dense dwarf form with tiny red leaves.
'Englishtown' is a true dwarf with a narrow upright habit. It only reaches 2 feet tall making it perfect for bonsai culture or tucked in small gardens. It was discovered as a witches' broom by Stephen Kristoff of New Jersey, who named it after the town in which he found it. The small foliage of 'Englishtown' is deep and noticeably red.

Tiny red leaves emerge in spring and does well to hold its color throughout the growing season. In fall leaves become a bright red. Its slow growth is certainly linked to its parents...'Pixie' and 'Shaina'.
