This vigorous 6-10' tree features cut-leaf foliage on gracefully pendulous branches. The lacy foliage opens a soft chartreuse color before deepening to emerald -green in summer. This lovely cascading tree turns a bright burgundy in fall making it a stunning accent. This specimen is fast-growing, a nice attribute for younger gardens. S-PSh/M
Emerald Lace Japanese Maple is a vigorous grower with very fine lacy green foliage. The foliage emerges chartreuse in spring then deepens to green in summer. Fall color is bright burgundy-red which is quite rare for green dissectums. Typical cascading habit. The pendulous branches are magnificent against the winter landscape. You can't beat Emerald Lace Japanese Maple for year round interest. Tolerates full sun better than most green dissectums, but prefers some shade in hotter climates.
Dissectum. Finely-dissected green laceleaf with lighter green new growth.
This is a gratifyingly fast grower with finely dissected, very lacy green, sometimes red-edged leaves, and orange-gold fall color in a mounding form, 5'T x 10'W
Emerald Lace is a wonderful, fast growing green lace-leaf. Its extra lacy leaves emerge yellow-green in spring turning a nice dark green for summer. In autumn it shows wonderful shades of bright red and orange. This variety is also very popular because it is very fast growing. I have often seen 2 year grafts with 3 ft branches.
Acer palmatum dissectum 'Emerald Lace' - Very fast growing dissected Japanese Maple. Leaves are a yellow green turning to darker green in summer. Plant can grow 3' a year. Leaves are red in fall.
Emerald Lace is the best of the green dissectums in my opinion; it has smaller, finer leaves and is thus lacier; it is vigorous so you don't feel like you'll be dead before it looks like something and its growth habit is regular and outwardly pendulous without looking weepy; it has scarlet fall color.
This cultivar is one of the most vigorous, heat tolerant maples we know. Makes a great container plant or a specimen. Good green leaves all summer, fabulous red fall color on finely dissected leaves.

DISSECTUM, green. A vigorous grower, this finely cut, brightly green lace leaf amazingly turns lovely shades of red in the fall. (The green leaf varieties will usually turn yellow-orange.) A beautiful selection in all seasons.
