Compact and tiny, to 3' in 6 years! This tree is a soft mound of yellow-green and pink in spring and brilliant orange and red in fall. Very heat-tolerant, this well-named jewel is a delight in container, bonsai, rock garden or border. S-PSh/M
Aptly named, this is a ‘jewel’ of a tree. Dwarf, growing only 3′ tall in 10 years. Small leaves with narrow lobes. Yellow and pink leaves in spring. Orange and red fall colors. Great for containers or bonsai.
Found in 1994 at an Oregon nursery, it is still rarely available. The tiny green leaves are highlighted with crimson hues. Tight, rounded form makes it a great choice for container growing.
Get in line folks. This one is worth waiting for. A colorful dwarf with leaves like Beni komachi: five narrow deeply incised lobes, irregular and small. And so pretty.
Dwarf, green. Slow-growing, compact little tree that is similar to 'Sharp's Pygmy', but with smaller leaves with narrow lobes. It is pale yellow and pink in spring to orange and then green for summer.
