Dwarf maple propagated from a witch's broom found in Australia. The bright green leaves have a golden cast in spring and turn a pinkish red in fall. At maturity it is a rounded bush with dense, twig like branches.
The small, green leaves are five-lobed with pointed tips. In fall they turn pastel yellow-orange-pink and then change to a deep pink before they drop.
This is a round shrubby dwarf with green leaves often touched with other colors; although it is a dwarf, it is pretty vigorous, generally a winner from my point of view. Zone 6.
