Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Tiny (to only 2't x 3'w in 10 years) and colorful!, the finely-dissected leaves of this mini spreading shrub open bright red in spring, change to bronzy red in summer and a strong red in fall; "red spider's web" in Japanese. S-PSh/M
Extremely fine lacy leaves are bright red when new, later become bronzy green and then display bright crimson in autumn. Low stature qualifies 'Beni kumo-no-su' as a dwarf, making it perfect for patio containers and rock gardens. Translated means "Red Spider Web".
Red Spider Web is a dainty little red lace-leaf. This variety has some of the smallest leaves of any dark red dissectums. Very wiry red leaves that hold their color all summer. Fall brings intense, bright reds.
DISSECTUM, red. This new introduction is similar to 'Red Filigree Lace', both having a very similar leaf form and cut. However, this cultivar, after opening red in the spring, changes to a reddish- bronze in the summer and a fiery crimson in the fall. We are told that this variety may be stronger and more vigorous than 'Red Filigree Lace'.
