Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Abies koreana 'Golden Glow' - A nice dwarf gold Korean Fir. Winter brings the striking "Golden Glow" colors. Many shoots loaded with short, wide needles—light yellow with white undersides—brighten the scene with both color and texture. The compact, mid-size selection from Holland develops an irregular, spreading shape, and in late winter, buds with a purple cast add decoration. Provide moist, well-drained soil and some protection from scorching sun in hot areas. Rare and Limited Availability

DWARF. Fron the Konijn Nursery in Holland. Aptly named, you will see, when it comes into its own in the winter months. It is truely a glowing yellow with a white reverse on the needles. Offers great contrast when planted with darker green conifers and broad leafed plants.
