Our collection of this Spirea relative from 10000' at the Gang He Ba Valley in Yunnan, China. We were struck by the small groups of these glaucous blue leaved shrubs with vertical branches looking like robust Daphne mezereums but with small terminal clusters of reddish green flowers. Rare.
