This fun strange plant is an upright willow with contorted stems that are orange, red and yellow in winter. Very fun, especially when winter comes.

By: Gossler Farms

Smaller selection of corkscrew willow to 20' tall and 6' wide (smaller with annual coppicing) valued for its contorted, bright orange winter stems that virtually GLOW against the gray sky. Branches are prized by flower arrangers and are also long lasting

A striking selection found by Darrell Probst. This is a vertically upright and corkscrewed selection of Salix alba and a perfect option for smaller gardens. With the advent of cold weather, the bare stems become bright orange and yellow. This can be coppiced, cut to the ground in late winter for new bright stems to 10'.
