Nursery contributed plant descriptions

When this plant comes into bloom at our nursery it becomes sold out almost immediately. Masses of 1" blue tubular stars dance above finely cut green foliage on sprawling 8-10" plants.
I love to plant frothy long-blooming ‘Blue Stars’ in Spring so it will keep the edges of my bed pretty after the Spring bloomers have faded. Lovely, lavender blue stars burst out from top to bottom like fireworks atop pretty green ferny foliage. As it expands, it’ll spill over and soften the edge of a path or rock wall. Flowers last almost 2 months, then cut back for a second go-round. Can be planted in Summer for Fall bloom and in Fall for Spring. 12”x12”. Rich soil. Self-sows! Sun/Pt. sun. Avg. water. Short-lived perennial USDA zones 9-10, annual elsewhere.
