    Epimedium grandiflorum 'Nanum' is a slow-growing broadleaf deciduous perennial with green and red foliage. In spring white flowers emerge. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with bright shade - shade and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Adapts to various soil conditions. Does well in acidic, average, clay, rich, rocky and well-drained soil.

    Rare! Dainty and sweet, this charming miniature Epimedium has a clumping habit, grows a mere 4-8” tall and long spurred, bright white flowers float March to April over dramatic, red-purple edged, deciduous foliage. My granddaughter says they look like ‘tiny white birds flying’. Thrives in shade, acid soil, dry shade tolerant once established. Takes a few years to form a nice clump…but will never get ‘too big’ or grow out of bounds! No maintenance!
