Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This bearded iris was passed down through several generations of women to a dear friend of mine. The flowers are typical purple blue but in many locations they bloom two or even three times a year. The leaves seem to be disease resistant. This is a vigorous iris and makes a nice clump of attractive foliage in a short time. A great producer of cut flowers, softly fragrant.
